Position: Sterile Processing Technologist
Location: Phoenix, AZ

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Sterile Processing Technologist to join our healthcare team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is critical in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our medical facilities by ensuring that all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and prepared for use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sterilize, assemble, and organize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Maintain inventory and ensure adequate supply levels of sterile instruments and materials.
- Adhere to strict sterilization protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Inspect, test, and operate equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Track and document sterilization processes and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with medical staff to meet the demands of surgical schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sterilization processes and equipment.
Qualifications:
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Required
Experience Requirements:
- One year of supply chain experience - Preferred
- One year of experience in a hospital or related healthcare setting - Preferred
Special Skills & Requirements:
- Basic working knowledge of computers - Required
